Description
“The Bhootnii” follows paranormal investigator Dr. Arjun Mehra (Sanjay Dutt) when he’s called to St. Vincent’s College to explain a series of supernatural incidents. Alongside rookie ghost-hunter Riya (Palak Tiwari) and skeptical photographer Sameer (Sunny Singh), Arjun confronts a centuries-old spirit with unfinished business. The film balances jump scares with witty banter and a blossoming romance between Arjun and Riya.

Movie Story
When inexplicable poltergeist activity upends campus life at St. Vincent’s College, Dr. Arjun Mehra is summoned to apply his “scientific” ghost-hunting techniques. As he and his team install EVP recorders and spectral cameras, they uncover tragic letters from 1920s student Leela—a young woman wronged in love. The narrative alternates between the present and Leela’s diary entries, weaving a tale of betrayal, unresolved grief, and the power of forgiveness. In a climactic séance, the team helps Leela’s spirit find peace—while unmasking a human culprit who sought to exploit the haunting for personal gain.
