Plot Summary
The story begins with an orphaned boy who saves Govindan (Vijayakumar) from a group of gangsters. In gratitude, Govindan adopts the boy and names him Amaran. As Amaran grows up, he becomes a kind-hearted slumlord, earning the respect and love of the local community.
Amaran's life takes a turn when he crosses paths with Aandava Perumal (Radha Ravi), a ruthless don with a violent past. Despite initial reluctance, Amaran is drawn into a conflict with Aandava Perumal, especially after the murder of Raja Varma (Prathap K. Pothan), who had urged Amaran to confront the don. Through these events, Amaran discovers that Aandava Perumal was responsible for the destruction of his family during his childhood.
Seeking revenge, Amaran offers shelter to Raja Varma's daughter, Sivagaami (Bhanupriya), and the two develop a deep bond. As the feud intensifies, Amaran's adopted family faces tragic consequences, forcing him and Sivagaami to flee to Goa. There, they find refuge with Don Miranda (Shammi Kapoor), and Amaran becomes involved in his operations. After marrying Sivagaami and spending years away, Amaran returns to Tamil Nadu to settle scores with Aandava Perumal, leading to a climactic and bloody confrontation.
